In November of 2010, Lion’s Gate Security Solutions, Inc. was founded by Joseph H. Hodges, Jr. and Calvin D. Jones. Hodges and Jones were retired at the time, after over 20 years with the Omaha Police Department. In their years with the police department, they gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of law enforcement. Hodges and Jones were adjunct criminal justice instructors at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Metro Community College, respectively. As police officers, Hodges’s and Jones’s strengths included investigating gang crimes, criminal investigations, crime prevention, and academy training. As owners of a security company, Hodges and Jones drew upon their military and law enforcement experience to focus on professionalism, visibility, education, and training in order to bring law enforcement and military training standards to the corporate arena.​

Lion’s Gate Security Solutions, Inc. selected management staff with significant military and fire service. Our management staff has extensive credentials as first responders and in training and education. With this combination of law enforcement, military, and fire service experience and training, Lion’s Gate Security Solutions, Inc. brings a unique approach to problem solving and crime prevention as well as professional training credentials. This sets us apart from other security companies. Our management personnel have an understanding of criminal behavior and are trained to adapt strategies to predict, prevent, and respond to crimes.
